Elapsa
Your passport expires six months before it says it does.
Many countries won't let you in on a passport with less than six months left, and renewing one can take two months. Elapsa reads your documents, knows how long each renewal takes, and tells you when to start, not when it's too late.

Early, not late
Reminders are timed to how long each renewal really takes, so “96 days left” comes with “start renewing now”.
It reads the document
Point the camera at a passport and Elapsa reads the machine-readable zone, checking every field's check digit, so what it saves is what's printed.
Your documents stay yours
No account and no upload. Your documents and their photos are encrypted on the device.
Good to know
Which documents can it track?
Passports, ID cards, visas, residence permits, driving licences, bank cards and more: eleven kinds built in, and you can add your own.
Is the six-month rule the same everywhere?
No. Some countries ask for six months of validity, some three, some only the length of your stay. Elapsa flags the six-month line as a reminder. Always check the rules of the country you're travelling to.
Does Elapsa upload my documents?
Never. Elapsa has no server and never connects to the internet. Everything is stored encrypted on your iPhone.
What about a new phone?
In Settings, use Transfer with a nearby device, or export everything into one encrypted file and send it with AirDrop, Files or a cable. It goes straight from one phone to the other.
